During the week of Oct. 21st through the 25th Killian Elementary will participate in Character Counts! week. Students will have the opportunity to show they support having good character by participating in the activities that follow
Monday, October 21st – Take the Character Counts! pledge to show your support!
Tuesday, October 22nd – Good Citizenship Day - Wear as much purple as possible. Students can help make their class and school community better by participating in campus clean up efforts.
Wed., October 23rd - Character Counts! poster contest - Students can create posters to incorporate the six pillars of character. (posters voted to incorporate the six pillars the most effectively will be included in the yearbook at the end of the year)
Thursday, October 24th- Character Counts! Coat of Arms – Students can design their own personal Coat of Arms including all six traits.
Friday, October 25th - Rainbow Day – Wear as many Character Counts! colors at the same time as you can.

Fairness = Orange, “Orange fruit splits into fair pieces”
Caring = Red, “Have a Heart”
Citizenship = Purple, Think being regal or royalty
